Hi and welcome to Blogtober day 10. Today I’m going to talk about the first place in my English Gems series. Join me whilst I explore proper English beauties and share my experiences with you.
My first place I’m going to talk about is situated in the small town of Sandwich in Kent. The Salutation Gardens are hidden away from all of the usual tourist attractions and the town in Sandwich, but it truly is a hidden gem. Set through an archway next to the Salutation Cafe, it is a real find. If you are looking to explore Kent’s beautiful destinations I really would recommend this. There is also a hotel, cottages and a restaurant on this site. I will insert their website and garden entry prices down below.
- £8 for adults
- Under 18s are free
- Dogs on leads are allowed and free
- You can also get a years garden membership for £15
The gardens are truly beautiful and divided into sections, a bit like ‘rooms’ of flowers. This post will mainly be about showcasing the beautiful photography of the gardens.
